Steam beer from Kinn Brewery
Kinn Bryggeri in Florø will produce its own beer for Fjordsteam 2010. It will be called “Dampen” and is a steam beer (popular in San Francisco from the 19th century, popular until our time). The beer is 4.7%, light copper in color, hop aromatic and with a marked bitter aftertaste. A very fresh and easy-drinking beer ... which is something completely different from the industrial lager, but which will still have a strong appeal to both crew and audience. 750 l of beer on tap and about 1000 bottles of 75 cl will be produced.

Kinn Bryggeri is one of the smallest breweries in Norway and is run by Espen Lothe, multiple Norwegian beer brewing champion. Kinn Bryggeri is a true craft brewery where all production from mashing to bottling is done manually and the beer is fermented with real top yeast in open vats for the best possible taste.
The beer will also be available in 19 liter steel kegs, and the brewery can arrange bottling equipment for vessels that want this. If vessels want to sell either in bottles or kegs, they can contact Kinn Bryggeri v/Espen Lothe on phone 47339047 or post@kinnbryggeri.no .
The public will be able to buy the beer on the vessels that have it, in Kinn Bryggeri's own outlet at the brewery in Strandgata or at some of the pubs in Florø under Fjordsteam.
