M/S “Gamle Nyborg” – snurper med spennende historie påmeldt!

9. januar 2018/by Sander

Bygget hos Cochrane & Sons i Selby UK i 1924, som steamdrifter “A.Rose”. “A.Rose”, minesveiper H.M.S.

Fikk i 1953 påbygd bakk.

Solgt til Steinar Antonsen, Tromsø i 1999, fikk navnet “Vagsfjell”, mest brukt i ensilasjefart over Tromsøsundet. Lagt i opplag i Dåfjorden, Karlsøy 2007, Karl Magnus Pettersen, Tromsø som eier.

Overtatt av Sten Cato Nordsæther i 2010 for bevaring som flytende kulturminne. Restaurering startet.
